Motorola – Oakley Media Kit

Fibre stepped away from the computer and rolled up its sleeves to visualise the media kit for O ROKR. Aimed at skateboarders, mountain bikers and free runners, O ROKR are innovative Oakley sunglasses with built-in Motorola stereo Bluetooth – meaning you can switch between music and taking a call, and then back again.
Eschewing their screens and mice, Fibre deployed spray paint, ink rollers and graffiti to create the rich urban backgrounds for each page. To bring the ideas of movement and music together they stencilled symbols for Play, Rewind, Stop, Pause and Fast Forward against silhouettes of boarders and bikers.
Of course, the artwork did eventually become digital. But ditching the computers for a day was so fun that the title of the media kit could also describe Fibre’s approach – Play Hard.
