Could you land a 747 at night with only runway lights to guide you? Diesel’s 55DSL web site gives you the chance to find out and calculates your score by the number of fatalities. The irreverent computer game appeared on the site which dispensed with grunge graphics but kept the sense of humour popular with skaters.
Fibre used an airport theme, tying in with an ad featuring the brand’s sponsored skater Tony Hawk and his levitating parents set in a check-in hall. The collection scrolls across the screen on a baggage carrousel where users can click on the bags, even unpack them to see the clothes; stockists listings are given in an interactive radar map; and events info is displayed on an animated departures/arrivals board. The creative aeronautic theme won a Design Week Award in 2000.
